At the round table prepared by the Competence Centre RIS the Ergo Institute explained how anthropologists can cooperate in development of high-tech products and solutions.
Alenka Bezjak, the Director of the Ergo Institute, presented her cooperation in development of telematic product Eco Driver. The presentation took place at the round table entitled “Can competences improve competitive advantages of companies developing IT systems and solutions?” At the event which took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia experts from various disciplines explained, what kind of competences are necessary to develop information and communications technologies. According to their presentations it becomes evident that technological skills should be inevitably supplemented by interdisciplinary approaches – including anthropological knowledge.
